Practical guide

Offering a registered office service to your clients

Pricing, onboarding and post handling arrangements to agree before you start reselling.

Decide how it fits into your client packages

An address service can be offered separately or included in a wider annual package. If you work from home, using an external provider means you can offer a company address without putting your own home on client company records.

Our accountant reseller service lets you charge clients yourself and choose your selling price. We charge the standard £85 plus VAT per company per year, including one director service address.

Allow for the full cost

Count the directors needing service addresses. Each additional director costs £15 plus VAT annually. Companies House and HMRC post scanning is included; optional scanning of other letters costs £1.50 plus VAT each.

Your margin should also allow for your own client administration. Avoid assuming that the difference between the selling price and the address fee is all profit.

Agree the correspondence arrangements

Before setting up a client, agree who will receive scanned post and who will act on it. Let CCM know that you are applying as an accountant so those arrangements can be settled at the start.

The annual fee covers the address and specified scanning service. If you offer company filings or other support to your client, make clear how those services are dealt with in your own package.

Plan for the customer checks

We will explain the information needed about each company and the people who own or control it during setup.

Offer the choice of Rochdale, Lancashire or Stockport, Cheshire, and agree the setup arrangements with CCM.
