What is the difference between the two addresses?
A registered office is the company’s official address on the Companies House register. A director’s service address is the director’s public correspondence address. Our annual package covers one company’s registered office and one director’s service address.
Will this keep my home address private?
Using our address for the registered office and director service address avoids using your home address in those fields on new filings. It does not automatically remove an address from existing records. Directors still need to give Companies House their residential address, which is generally kept off the public register.
What post is included?
Companies House and HMRC correspondence is scanned and emailed as part of the annual price. Other letters can be scanned and emailed, if wanted, at £1.50 + VAT per letter (£1.80 including VAT).
Can any UK company use these addresses?
Both addresses are in England and can be used by companies registered in England and Wales. Companies registered in Scotland, Northern Ireland or specifically in Wales cannot use them as their registered office. Company owners and directors must be UK resident. Acceptance is subject to AML checks. Wait for our confirmation before using an address. The package covers the registered office, the selected director service addresses and the stated letter scanning service. Workspace, company formation, accountancy, Companies House filings, parcels and forwarding original documents are not included.
Can I use the address as soon as I apply?
We confirm your full address when the service is ready. See the eligibility and setup answers for the details.
Can accountants resell the service?
Yes. Accountants can resell the service and set their own client price. Standard fees apply.
Do I pay when I apply?
No payment is taken on this website. Send your application first. CCM will contact you to arrange the next steps and payment.
Who provides the service?
North West Registered Office is provided by Carter Collins & Myer (CCM). Applications and enquiries are handled by the CCM team at enquiries@uk-ccm.com.
How quickly is post scanned?
Companies House and HMRC letters are scanned and emailed within one working day of arrival.
What happens to post that is not Companies House or HMRC?
We email you to let you know it has arrived. You can ask us to scan and email it for £1.50 + VAT (£1.80 including VAT). If we do not hear from you within 14 days, the letter is returned to sender.
Can you forward parcels or original documents?
No. The service is for letters only. We do not accept parcels and we do not forward original documents.
How long is the contract and how do I cancel?
The service renews automatically each year. To cancel, give us at least 30 days’ notice before your renewal date. Fees already paid are non-refundable. If the service ends, you must change your registered office and director service address at Companies House straight away and stop using our address.
How long does setup take?
Once the AML checks are complete and payment is received, we normally confirm your address within five working days.
Do I also need to verify my identity with Companies House?
Yes, if you are a director or person with significant control (PSC). Companies House identity verification is separate from our AML checks. You can verify free through GOV.UK One Login. See our Companies House identity verification guide for the steps and deadlines.
